Strong Water Beneficiation Magnetic Iron Remover for Mining and Waste-to-Energy Plants
The magnetic separator is one of the most versatile industrial machines, designed for separating substances with magnetic differences. This wet magnetic separator is particularly effective for processing materials in mining, timber, kiln, chemistry, and food industries.
Key Applications
  • Wet or dry magnetic separation of manganese ore, magnetite, pyrrhotite, roasted ore, ilmenite, and hematite
  • Iron removal from coal, non-metallic minerals, and building materials
  • Processing materials with particle sizes below 50mm
  • Ideal for mining operations and waste-to-energy plants
Technical Specifications
The permanent magnetic system uses high-quality ferrite materials or rare earth magnetic steel compounds. Modern roll-type designs achieve magnetic field intensities up to 1650mT - the highest currently available in industrial magnetic separators.
Operating Principle
The separation process begins when pulp flows into the tank through the feeding box. Under magnetic influence:
  • Magnetic particles form clusters or chains that move toward magnetic poles
  • These clusters adhere to the rotating cylinder while non-magnetic materials fall away
  • Concentrate moves to the weakest magnetic zone for collection
  • Tailings exit with the remaining pulp flow
